The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at BU Headquarters works tirelessly to support and expand the University’s research ecosystem. Through ORIC, faculty, students and potential researchers are connected with relevant departments, research areas and BU’s active research groups.
In alignment with this strong foundation, the Bahria Business Incubation Center (BIC) serves as the bridge between research excellence and real-world innovation. BIC transforms ideas into meaningful ventures by helping students, alumni and faculty translate knowledge into practical, high-impact solutions. We support innovation in emerging domains such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, health tech, fintech, climate tech, and other technology-driven fields.
BIC continues to expand its ecosystem through partnerships with industry, government bodies, funding agencies and international organizations. These collaborations create opportunities for mentorship, capacity building, commercialization and market access for our startups. Through bootcamps, training programs, workshops and structured incubation, BIC equips aspiring entrepreneurs with the skills needed to succeed in today’s competitive environment.
